SELF LOVE

Loving ourselves is the most beautiful gesture of love we can give ourselves. It is the most important love that we must feel, give, cultivate, care for and embrace. Self-love encompasses being kind to yourself, so it refrains you from judging yourself and leads you to forgive yourself, understand yourself, value yourself, honor yourself, free yourself, recognize yourself and accept yourself from a new perspective of unconditional love.
Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and by loving ourselves we will recognize our virtues and embrace our defects with love and compassion. Loving ourselves makes us aware of who we are, it is the basis for personal growth. This leads us to prioritize our emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
Taking care of ourselves makes us more empathetic, compassionate, patient, and respectful of our processes, which allows us to extend to others. Practicing self-love will allow you to be good to yourself and be a better human being.
Self-love leads us to feel unconditional love, but when there is self-criticism and limiting emotions that manifest into insecurity, fear or guilt, we distance ourselves from our truth.
How can we learn to love ourselves? Starting by loving ourselves above all, without any judgment. Transcending the duality generated by what we do not accept about ourselves and transforming it into unconditional love.
Here are some steps that will make you fall in love with yourself and love yourself unconditionally:
Who I am? It is the first thing we must recognize in ourselves. Our “I Am” makes us a unique person, special in our essence, which is what differentiates us from others and from here begins the path of self-knowledge to fall in love with ourselves.
Accept yourself as you are. Here unconditional love begins to flourish, since we will begin to embrace every part of our being, transcending judgment, and the expectations of ourselves and others. Accepting ourselves requires courage.
Be kind and compassionate. Once we accept ourselves, there will be negative characteristics that we previously rejected but in the present, we embrace to transform them into virtues that generate happiness and fulfillment with our being. For example, if I recognize my low self-esteem, unhappiness, feelings of lack, and fears, it is important to understand the root of these emotions.
Return to your essence. The essence of life is love. During life we collect information that feeds us our “I Am”, and without realizing it we store constructive or destructive information for our being. Feeling undeserving promotes feelings such as envy, and although it may seem difficult to believe, through love, we can transform the longing for what others have into inspiration and deservingness to materialize our dreams.
Work on forgiveness. Love conquers everything, transcends everything, and can do everything, because love is the essence of life. Albert Einstein
Believe in yourself. Love is the most powerful force that exists because it has no limits, and you are love.
Love yourself, love yourself, love yourself like you never imagined loving and you will love all of existence. “As it is inside, so it is outside.” (Law of correspondence)
Loving yourself is the most important and lasting love of our lives. It is the beginning of a story of eternal love, which allows us to achieve happiness and live free of judgments, fears and insecurities. Open your heart and connect with your being. Remember who you are.
